Auld Reekie Blues is run by me, Jo Meyer, with assistance from my partner, Ian Brooks. We are lovers of blues dancing and live music based in Scotland, originally in Edinburgh (Auld Reekie) and now in West Lothian. We run our own events for blues dancing and also promote events which we recommend for blues dancers.
This site is intended as a quick reference point for blues dancers with a focus on social dancing opportunities in Edinburgh. Listings will include events specifically for dancers and also live music gigs which we think will be dancer friendly. We will also list recommended blues dance events further afield.
